Grooming Schedules by Coat Types
Curly or Continuous-Growth Coats
Poodles, Doodles, Bichon Frise, ect: Professional grooming every 4 to 6 weeks. We also recommend to brush every 1 to 3 days to stop painful matting.
Long-Haired Coats
Shih Tzu, Maltese, Yorkshire Terrier, ect: Professional grooming every 4 to 6 weeks. Brush daily at home to prevent tangles.
Double Coats
Golden Retrievers, Huskies, German Shepherds, ect: Professional deshedding every 6 to 8 weeks. Brush 3 to 4 times a week, and daily when they shed their winter coats
Medium-Length Coats
Labradors, Corgis, Australian Shepherds, ect: Professional grooming every 6 to 8 weeks. Brush 2 to 3 times a week.
Short-Haired Coats
Beagles, Boxers, Dalmatians, ect: Professional visits every 8 to 12 weeks for nails and ears. Brush once a week and bathe every 4 to 6 weeks.
